Nikken

2006-2011 Designer/Artworker
Designing and artworking all output for the European market. This included company magazines, packaging, brochures and other literature, as well as producing digital assets such as imagery, animated banners, and designing and coding corporate emails.

2011-2013 | Senior Designer/Design Team Leader
Upon my promotion to Senior Designer I headed a team of three, art directing and producing all of the content mentioned above, and managing the team’s workload.

I reworked the brand guidelines for the European market, which were then taken on by America and Japan, meaning my designs and branding guidance were taken on worldwide.

RedEye

2013-2014 Design Executive
Predominantly an email design role, I was responsible for the production of responsive email design and coding, responsive web design and microsite design. I also introduced motion graphics to the company – for which I was solely responsible – as well as video and sound editing. As the only motion graphics designer I also planned and delivered training sessions to the rest of the team, so that basics could be achieved in my abscence!

Working on a wide range of big-name brands gave me a wealth of experience with a broad scope of clients, and made for a varied, challenging and rewarding working day.

ID Medical

2014-2016 Graphic and Digital Design Specialist
Responsible for the design and artworking of a large volume of printed and digital material. This included refreshing the company’s branding, maintaining and updating the company website, designing and coding corporate and internal email, video and sound editing and producing numerous reports to deliver information, results and data.

Dusk Till Dawn

April-July 2016 (voluntary redundancy) Senior Designer
Overseeing the entire creative output for the club (including advertising and branding of games, promotions and the club itself), and online material for the club and PartyPoker, including email marketing. I introduced video adverts which were played around the club and online.

Graphic Packaging International

2016-2017 Graphic Designer
Ensuring that all marketing output was to the required visual standard,
protecting the brand, and giving visual support to anyone who required it.

On top of my design BAU, I helped assemble and deliver pitches, as well as co-presenting a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style presentation to high-street name management. I introduced an audience participation tool, allowing for live feedback on pitches, and used motion graphics and illustration to present the findings.

Greene King

2017-present | Digital Designer
Producing assets for the various websites under the Greene King brand, including Hungry Horse, Farmhouse Inns, Chef & Brewer and Greene King themselves. Working with various CMSs, and producing well-viewed video/animation content for social media.

Lead Digital Designer for Chef & Brewer and Sport
Managing the digital output for these two brands, including look and feel of the website, emails and social media content.
